What goes through an artist/band's mind when they...
Do they think they can do a better job singing a song they didn’t write?   Do they think they are paying homage to the original artist by singing the cover version to the original artist and the world?   And why don’t radio stations recognize the originals (in 99% of the cases) are better and either refuse to play the cover or play the cover and the original immediately following it?...

Should I keep taking pix of curbside sightings?
With this particular one the mom came out of the house to “sell” me on it - perfect condition!  I didn’t bring it home.

Peacock Update - Way More Than 5!
In going by the “Peacock House” the other day, we noticed there were a bunch of peacocks in the neighbour’s yard, as well.  There were well over the 5-6 that Claire and I saw the first time I posted about them.  And this time there was a white one.  We also saw some of the hens although we didn’t get pix of them.

The Susan Komen 3 Day Walk for a Cure Vehicle...
We went out to do an errand on Sunday the 30th of Oct (to get the beds!!) and ended up in a “Walk for the Cure” vehicle parade.  The walkers were on the sidewalks - and the support stations were there, too, so I’m not sure who the parade was.  Here’s are some photos of the “action”:

How Much Is the Paper?
Funny story:  I started buying the Sunday paper (it’s sold at most of the major intersections by people with bright green shirts).   The first time I bought the paper, I walked up to one of the guys and said, “How much is the paper?”  ”Dollar fifty”, he said.   I bought the paper and went back to the car.  Then Claire said, “Mom, the price of the paper is on...

We Got a Bed!! A Real Bed!!
As most of you know, we are in the middle of a move and the kids and I have been “making do” with air mattresses.  The kids have been handling it better than Bob and I.  I had a daily “air adjustment” routine as the slow leaks have gotten worse.  And Bob couldn’t sleep on the same air mattress/fill level that I had set up.  Oh, the fun!!  We’re getting older,...
